Patch Testing for Skin Allergies

A patch test consists of specific allergens that are applied to small adhesive patches which are then placed on the skin (usually the back). We perform a full line of skin patch testing which enables us to screen our patients for common skin allergies.  Available patch tests include:

  • North American Series
  • Shoe Series*
  • Hairdresser Series*
  • Oil & Coolant Series*
  • Cosmetic Series*
  • Corticosteriod Series*

*Each of these series is in addition to the standard North American Series which contains 50 common allergens.
